    Following the recent statements from both the Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, & our Supreme Leader, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, confirming that we are past the peak of the virus & detailing a roadmap of actions to bring us out of lockdown I have made the decision to start taking new bookings again from early June 2020.

    Why?

    The current lockdown restrictions due to the Corona Virus pandemic are effecting everyone in many different ways. The government recognizes the importance of daily excercise for both your physical AND mental wellbeing, and as such allows you to leave your home once a day to walk, run or cycle alone or with members of your household.

    Temporary closure due to Corona Virus - 24/04/2020

    Following the Prime Ministers address last night I shall be temporarily closing the workshop doors* until further notice. I am aware that bicycle shops are listed in government guidance notes as retail business' exempt from compulsory closure, however, as a one person owner-operated business the more compelling advice under the current conditions is to stay at home unless absolutely essential.

    I've broken myself :'o(

    Saturday morning I took part in the Brighton Big Dog mountain bike race at Stanmer Park.

    To cut a long story short (the long version is on the Propel Bikes FB page) I had a crash which resulted in me breaking 3 ribs & damaging muscles, ligaments & all sorts of soft tissue.

    How does it work?

    To put it simply, if your bicycle needs servicing you can book a service appointment either using my super easy online scheduler or call me on 07888 005 440.

    I will then arrive at the agreed location, at the agreed time to either service your bicycle there & then or take it away to my fully equipped workshop to carry out the work. Your bicycle will then be returned in tip-top condition, again at an agreed time & loc... more
